Spring Break Camp
Camps run from 9 am to 1 pm, Monday through Friday, and include daily riding lessons and stable management lessons. Riding camps are designed to give students an idea of what is needed to properly care for a horse and students will be put into groups according to riding levels. Beginner to intermediate riders are welcome. Stable management lessons include safely handling horses and ponies, grooming, tacking up, feeding, horse anatomy and much more. For the more experienced show-ready students, braiding, wrapping, and learning how to prepare for a show will be part of stable management lessons. Horses are available for all levels of riders from safe walk/trot horses up to 2' 6" hunters. Students should bring an approved riding helmet as well as boots with a small heel and a lunch. Cost is $300 for the week.
